Welcome to Kaspio
Since 2018, we've called the Fischmarkt in Stade's historic old town home. What started as a small eatery, we've shaped step by step into what Kaspio is today — a place where good food and genuine hospitality come together.
Kaspio evokes the Caspian Sea — the bridge between East and West. That's exactly what we want to be: a meeting place for everyone who wants to treat themselves. Whether a spontaneous weekday lunch, a relaxed evening, or dining outdoors at the Fischmarkt overlooking the old town in summer — you're welcome here.

From Fischmarkt classics to flavours from around the world
Northern German meets international
Our menu is a mix of what we love and what our guests love. Crispy fish and chips and potato pancakes with smoked salmon sit alongside pink pasta with beetroot pesto and our Buddha Bowl. Then there are Thai curries that have been regulars' favourites for years.
We cook seasonally and swap dishes regularly — lighter in summer, heartier in winter. What stays: everything is freshly prepared with good ingredients and honest craft.
A Taste of Home
Our Safranglück is one of the most ordered dishes on the menu for good reason: pan-fried chicken breast with saffron cream sauce, barberries and rice. It carries a piece of family history — flavours we know from home, in a form everyone enjoys.
It's important to us that every guest finds something they love. If you have allergies or special requests, just let us know — we adapt many dishes individually.
